Internet Marketing Education

The previous post described the primary characteristic to success as an internet business entrepreneur, determination.  The next step is training.  You need to find a program that provides comprehensive internet marketing education.

There are many, many ways to make money on the internet, network marketing, affiliate marketing, article marketing, video marketing, twitter, pay per click, blogging, eCommerce – the list goes on considerably and can be overwelming.

It is just like your first day of college or the schooling for any profession. The curriculum is huge.  You are a newbie.  You take classes in a variety of areas to ultimately specialize.
The problem is that the internet is bombarding you with ecourses and ebooks that are only pieces to the internet puzzle. You can spend a fortune on one subject and realize that you hate it.  This is not to say that you can not make money in this area, for example pay per click.  But this may not be the way for you.

Or you can waste your money another way, like I did previously. I paid for personal one on one  mentoring.  But a coach who can only teach you website design and not how to generate traffic is NOT what you need.  You will end up with an expensive website.  Email me and I can show you my $7500 website.

If you are beginning to consider the world of Internet marketing, you will need to find the right educational program.

You want a one stop shop. One that has courses on all the latest marketing techniques and technologies to help you build a strong internet business.  One that has courses geared toward beginner, intermediate and advance students within those subjects as well as a support system that provides “LIVE” feedback.

Have you heard the expression those that can “do” and those that can not “teach”?  I hate this expression, but it does serve the purpose.  Most business professors are NOT successful business women/men.  They teach theoretical practises and not from the school of hard knocks.

So I believe that one of the most valuable programs should have teachers who are successful entrepreneurs themselves. Those who can say with certainty that this works and can teach you here’s how.

Finally, and probably the most important, one that has the capability to let you earn as you learn. The legitimate ones do not offer income claims. But you do not want to wait 6 months to figure out how to make your first dollar.
